Air Vision Media offer creative commercial multimedia solutions from script to screen, providing you the client, with that right media solution. Our UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) are the ultimate way to record digital data for both video and stills photography from the air. The UAV is not restricted to the same limitations as full size aircraft. We are able to operate up to a maximum altitude of 120 m vertically and out to a maximum distance of 500 m. The UAV must be in visual line of site (VLOS) of the pilot in charge. This is within the strict CAA (Civil Aviation Authority) regulations. Although we can apply for greater altitudes if required on a shoot by shoot basis. The UAV is operated by a qualified pilot and the camera gimbal is operated separately by our own professional photographer. This unique system and design allows us to shoot with a completely new perspective. The camera on the UAV is operated via our mobile ground station. From this ground station, the pilot and photographer view imagery from each of their own LCD displays. The UAV is constantly updating its position using the onboard GPS and hovers holding a precise position without any assistance from the pilot. The UAV is far more cost effective to operate than manned aerial platforms. The UAV can shoot in more locations in less time than traditional methods. There is no need for cherry pickers and masts that have limited access, expensive aircraft charters or scaffolding. Scaffolding also brings its own risks of the security of the building with its valuable materials whilst erected.
